The App does not use or collect any personal data related to your geographic location. Your distribution zone is used to retrieve rate predictions through the smarthound.uk website, and to retrieve relevant CO2 data from the carbon intensity API.
The App itself does not collect, transmit, or maintain user data other than the data used for communication with the Octopus Energy website.
Personal information is used to communicate with the Octopus Energy, and only if the user decided to provide the App with this information. This information is known by Octopus Energy where the user must be a customer to have access to the relevant information. No other personal information is collected, transmitted, or maintained by the App, we do not share personal information with anyone.

We comply with COPPA. We do not solicit nor gather any data from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us (see contact information at the bottom).
